Ellen Noreen Kelty, 76, of Millsboro, Delaware, died peacefully on Thursday, September 8 at home. Noreen was born in Hoboken. She was the daughter of Charles V. Kelty and Helen Flynn Kelty. She graduated from St. Dominic Academy in Jersey City. Noreen worked as an executive secretary for Melvyn J. Huber in New York City for many years. She relocated to Middletown Township and worked in the payroll department of International Flavors and Fragrances, from which she retired in 1999. Relocating again, she has been a resident of Millsboro, Delaware, for 16 years.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Paul V. Kelty. She is survived by her loving and devoted sister, Kathleen B. Kelty also of Millsboro; her sister-in-law, Lois Dougherty of Chattahoochee, Florida; her nieces, Katy Dougherty of Midway, Florida; her great-niece, Meagan Alysse Dougherty of Tallahassee, Florida; her niece, Molly McDaniel and her husband Jonathan of Marianna, Florida; three great-nephews, Zackary, Tanner and Connor McDaniel; her God daughter, Donna Christian Aiden Valentino of New York City, New York; and many loving cousins and dearest friends.
