Nancy Leonetti, 93, of Hazlet, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 23 at her home. She was born Nancy Fasciglione on March 15, 1922 in Manhattan, N.Y., where she grew up. She also lived in Bronx, N.Y., and later in life moved to Jackson. In 1990, she settled in Hazlet. Before retiring, she worked as an executive at Chemical Bank in New York, N.Y.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Anthony Leonettil; her parents, Vito and Philomena (Silva) Fasciglione; her sister, Antoinette Ferracano; and her daughter-in-law, Kathy Leonetti. Nancy is survived by her loving children, Phyllis Loihle and her husband Stephen of Hazlet and Alfonso Leonetti of Kansas; her dear brother, Joseph Fasciglione and his wife Jean; her cherished grandchildren, Ronald Little, Lori Leming and her husband Wayne, Zach Leonetti and his wife Amber, Daniel Little and his wife Denise, Anthony Little and his wife Ashley, David Little, Jess Leonetti, Sarah Little, Joshua Loihle, and Amber Loihle; along with 15 adored great grandchildren. She will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 27 and Monday, December 28 at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Hazlet. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered on Monday, December 28 at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, Union Beach. Interment followed at Saint Raymond’s Cemetery, Bronx, N.Y.
