Monmouth U to Present ‘Back from the Brink: How Middle East Can Save Itself’

WEST LONG BRANCH – Monmouth University’s Institute for Global Understanding will present “Back from the Brink: How Middle East Can Save Itself,” by Hussein Ibish, Ph.D. at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18, in Wilson Auditorium.
The lecture is free and open to the public.
Ibish is an author, political commentator and a senior fellow at the American Task Force on Palestine. He is a contributor to many American and Middle Eastern publications and has appeared on national radio and television programs. He holds a Ph.D. in comparative literature from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
“Dr. Ibish is an expert in his field,” said Dr. Marina Vujnovic, director of the Institute for Global Understanding. “We are pleased to have him on campus to speak about this important and timely topic.”
