ASBURY PARK – Lakehouse Music Academy is organizing an event to raise money and establish a music program at Hope Academy Charter School in Asbury Park.

The red carpet fundraiser will be held during the evening of Wednesday, July 9, at the Showroom Cinema. The event will be celebrating the re-release of the classic re-mastered Beatles’ 1967 movie, “A Hard Day’s Night.” The event also will feature live music performances by the Lakehouse Pro’s and Hope Charter Drum Circle, a silent auction, dinner and beverages.

Tickets are available for purchase at and clicking on “hope.” Those who are unable to attend can still purchase tickets and donate them to parents and faculty of Hope Academy.

Hope Academy is a K-8 school in Asbury Park that has no funding for a music program. Last summer, Lakehouse Academy facilitated a short music enrichment program with some of the students. The program proved highly successful and demonstrated the need to bring a comprehensive curriculum into the school.
