Area campaign for awareness of the importance of mammography seeking volunteers
NEPTUNE – Planning, promoting and participating in a community-wide event; volunteering and giving back to your community; supporting the women in your life. If you have a passion for any of the above, Paint the Town Pink needs you!
The organization that has raised awareness of the importance of annual mammography across Monmouth County with the help of the surrounding “pink towns” is looking for volunteers to help in the effort.
This year, Meridian Health is pleased to bring the community-wide effort to more than 15 towns in Monmouth and Ocean counties.
With the expansion of Paint the Town Pink, 2013 will cast a wider pink hue across Monmouth and Ocean counties. What began as an idea seven years ago has been transformed into a grassroots initiative that is changing lives in very tangible and meaningful ways.
Those interested in volunteering may call Marian Haase at 732-962-7493 or email MHaase@meridianhealth.com.
