As the play opens, ne’er do well son Eddie, played by senior Timothy di Domenico, deposits his two young sons, Jay (senior Christopher Mallamaci) and Arty (freshman Baylor Rodman) on the old lady’s doorstep. He is financially strapped and taking to the road to try his luck as a salesman. The boys are left to contend with Grandma, Bella, Bella’s secret romance, her brother Louie, played by sophomore John Gnazzo, the small-time hoodlum in a strange new world called Yonkers and the ever petrified Aunt Gertrude played by junior Sarah Hough.
