HOLMDEL – Bayshore Community Hospital announced a significant donation from Dee Rudko of Colts Neck
An entrepreneur, Rudko’s gift was strongly inspired by his experience with the quality and culture at Bayshore.
“As a businessman, I only invest in organizations that have great quality,” said Rudko, CEO of AMRCON, an IT company he founded. “Excellent quality is a result of a strong culture. I decided to invest in Bayshore’s future because it was evident that the quality and the culture were both exceptional.”
As the CEO of his own company and a board member of several organizations, Rudko has enjoyed considerable early success: He’s still in his 30s.
“You’re never too young to get involved,” he said. “Health care is important at any stage of life, especially for those of us with families to look after. I encourage area residents to come out and get involved in the new Bayshore and learn about everything that’s available right here in your community.”
Rudko’s generous gift to Bayshore marks the fourth exceedingly generous donation to the hospital in the past 16 months.
“I am absolutely thrilled to see this groundswell of support for Bayshore,” said Monmouth County Freeholder Serena DiMaso, a Holmdel resident and chair of the Bayshore Community Hospital Foundation Board.
Since joining Meridian Health in 2010, Bayshore has seen significant additions and improvements to its services, adding the Center for Wound Healing, Center for Sleep Medicine, a Pediatric Care Center, and a new crisis unit in the Emergency Care Center. Most recently, Bayshore has begun construction on two new heart and vascular laboratories. As a part of the Meridian Cardiovascular Network, Bayshore, along with the other four hospitals of Meridian Health, became an Accredited Chest Pain Center, making Meridian Health the first system in New Jersey to achieve this status.
“We are incredibly thankful for the generous support of the Rudko family,” said Joe Stampe, president of the Meridian Health Affiliated Foundations. “Gifts such as this one are vital to fund new technologies and programs that save and enhance lives within our community.”
“Over the past three and a half years, the culture of Meridian Health has been instrumental in the continued growth and improvement of Bayshore Community Hospital’s services,” said Timothy J. Hogan, FACHE, regional president of Bayshore Community Hospital and Riverview Medical Center. “Dee’s immense generosity helps Bayshore realize its vision to provide access to the best health care available, right here in this community.”
