A top job and the power that goes with it is the lifeblood of a Capricorn. They are intelligent, organized and responsible. They get along best with the earth signs, the practical Taurus and hardworking Virgo.
Capricorn is extremely practical and always eyeing the boss’ job. They enjoy competition and always work to win.
They seldom see defeat as a negative. To a Capricorn, defeat just means they must work harder to get where they want to go, which is to win. Since a Capricorn is serious they do not take jokes lightly.
This earth sign is not known for emotional extremes. They usually have their emotions under control, unless of course they have a few unresolved issues. But the ideal behavior of a well-rounded Capricorn is a reserved detachment.

The first full moon of 2013 will be in Capricorn next Friday, Jan. 11. That means emotions will run high all this week. The first Mercury retrograde this year will start on Feb. 23 at 4:41 a.m. until March 17. So plan accordingly.
Aries (March 21 to April 20) Your energy should be making music this week and getting you moving in a new and positive direction. No more excuses, just make the moves you have been planning for the past six months and don’t look back. You really need to understand how important your work is to many people. So get moving.
Taurus (April 21 to May 20) This is no time to argue over subjects that have no real meaning to you or anyone you love. Save your energy for more positive work and you will be much happier. A new friend could turn things around for you if you only listen to what they have to say. But don’t believe everything you hear.
Gemini (May 21 to June 20) This is a good week to be willing and ready to alter plans if you get a better offer. Be real, not only to yourself but everyone around you. This influence will get you far and help you both at home and at work. A new co-worker could be a great influence on you and your goals. Try and listen.
Cancer (June 21 to July 20) Although you have had a few challenges in the past, if you listen carefully to the advice you have been receiving from a close associate and friend you will make remarkable progress. A new love could also enter the picture if you keep your heart and mind open to friendship.
Leo (July 21 to Aug. 20) As you set off in a new direction take a few close pals with you if possible. Otherwise keep in close touch and heed the advice. A new pathway will open unexpectedly and you might consider it as the way to go. Just reorganize and keep looking forward instead of back to the past. Dealing with the past is a waste of time.
Virgo (Aug. 21 to Sept. 20) Any new business steps should be taken only after serious thought and plenty of advice. Your upcoming work will carry you to places you never thought of and the reward will be great. So step lightly and be serious. Otherwise you could end up on the wrong side of the ballpark.
Libra (Sept. 21 to Oct. 20) Winning the game now could be very important for you and your pals. So play according to all the rules and know you are on the right team. Relax and know you are in line to win, but only if you play fair and square and use all your positive energy.
Scorpio (Oct. 21 to Nov. 20) This is a serious time of your life. Saturn in Scorpio wants answers. So most of the situations you find yourself mixed up with are time consuming, but your future is involved in each decision. So try talking to those you really love seriously and then move on each situation with great care.
Sagittarius (Nov. 21 to Dec. 20) If you decide to seek favors from your pals, this is a good week to start asking. Let folks know your plans and then let them decide. Plenty of friends will want to participate in your new games. So slow down and enjoy the ride. You will win that way. To do anything else is a mistake.
Capricorn (Dec. 21 to Jan. 20) With your birthday looking you in the eye it is time to stress a new vitality and a new plan for the future. Get yourself organized and don’t take on more than you can actually win. If you follow that routine, you will have a fantastic birthday year by winning at everything you try.
Aquarius (Jan. 21 to Feb. 20) One thing you have in common with your friends is unique and friendly plans. This is the year to really move on your long-held ideas. So outline your agenda and think of a new way to present yourself. Your motto is off with the old and on with the new.
Pisces (Feb. 21 to March 20) There are some issues you may want to ignore and Neptune in Pisces will cover them, but you can bet living life in a bubble just won’t make it this year. The time has come to burst your persona and become more outspoken. Otherwise you will deal with the heavenly consequences.
