Skywatch For The Week Of November 16-23, 2012

By Flo Higgins
Here we have a Scorpio celebrating a birthday on the cusp that offers a fine example of how the fire sign Sagittarius adds to the personality. This brings a touch of the mellow flavor of Sagittarius to the intense, fixed Mars-Pluto ruled Scorpio.
Now we have a combination that is hard to ignore. Life is serious business to a Scorpio. But to anyone born on the cusp of Scorpio/ Sagittarius, there has to be some humor. As long as the humor does not put this birthday person in a not-so-funny situation, all is well. But all bets are off if the Scorpio is the subject of the joke.
Those celebrating a birthday this week like to be in control of life, never the other way around. They are aware of situations and people because they are extremely sensitive to their surroundings. They use this skill to help or hinder their relationships. They know exactly how to get information without giving any.
That is why so many Scorpio people are found in the directive business. They love secrets and they know full well how to keep them.

People born this week: Dwight Gooden, Nov. 16, 1967; Rock Hudson, Nov. 17, 1925;  RuPaul, Nov. 18, 1960; Linda Evans, Nov. 19, 1942; Bo Derek, Nov. 20, 1956; Goldie Hawn, Nov. 21, 1945; Scarlett Johansson, Nov. 22, 1984; Miley Cyrus, Nov. 23, 1992.

Next eclipse during the full moon will be on Wednesday, Nov. 28 at 9:46 a.m. and the moon will be in Gemini and the sun in Sagittarius. The next planetary event will be at 5:48 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26, when Mercury goes direct and you can once again sign a contract or make a promise, although it would be better if you wait until after the eclipse.

Aries (March 21 to April 20) You may feel like starting over again or dropping what you apparently thought you wanted last week. Try staying with the project at least until the end of the month when Mercury is once again direct on Nov. 26 after 9 p.m. Otherwise you will once again be faced with a broken promise.

Taurus (April 21 to May 20) A brand new vision of some old ideas could force you to look elsewhere for your “bliss.” There is no better way to understand your real needs than to spend a couple of hours alone. So take some time and then get out and about. There is a new face coming into your life and it will add sparkle to your game.

Gemini (May 21 to June 20) Jupiter may be in Gemini but Mercury, your ruling planet, is now retrograde. So, although there may be opportunities that might look good, hold off. Meeting new pals could be fun, but don’t take it seriously. This is a time of fun and games but nothing more. Get serious and pay the price. You have already done that so don’t do it again.

Cancer (June 21 to July 20) If you just hold on now and prepare for a new venture by the end of the month you will find a new attitude and a new outlook on your old life. The changes you had been dreading will turn around and make you extremely happy if you just let them happen. It is time to let go of your need to control all.

Leo (July 21 to Aug. 20) Any wounds you may have will disappear with a single phone call to a friend. You need to spread the cheer you are always able to muster when life doesn‘t go the way you might want it to go. Try to turn over a new leaf and offer a smile and a hug to those in need.

Virgo (Aug. 21 to Sept. 20) Although your ruling planet Mercury is retrograde now it does not mean you should stop any project which has already been started. So regardless of your emotional nature and your booming love life you should still try concentrating on your career goals for the rest of this month.

Libra (Sept. 21 to Oct. 20) Any misunderstanding now should basically be ignored. If you can deal with it that way it will amount to nothing. Otherwise if you let the drama rule, you will be the loser once again. So it is time to reverse your attitude and let any upset just roll off your back.

Scorpio (Oct. 21 to Nov. 20) Stay committed to your promises you have made in the past, otherwise you will be the loser. As Saturn starts its two-year stay in Scorpio you don’t want to create any unnecessary upset. Because if you get caught up in nonsense, it will create havoc. Then you will be spending too much of your time patching up the problems.

Sagittarius (Nov. 21 to Dec. 20) Mercury retrograde sets up an agenda for you that will allow you some free time. But this is not the time to be pushing any romance or getting involved. The more you work at the final details, the more success you will see by next month. So stay busy.

Capricorn (Dec. 21 to Jan. 20) Try dealing with the magic of Neptune in Pisces in a wide-eyed way this week. All work and no play is fine, but you need a little relaxation. Maybe it is time to be in a warmer climate at least for a short time. A new relationship at work could spark things up for the better.

Aquarius (Jan. 21 to Feb. 20) This week could be a time of deep change for you. Don’t let disruptive situations create drama you don‘t really need. Try looking the other way and complete some of the projects you have already started before taking on anything new. A new pal could become much more. Watch out!

Pisces (Feb. 21 to March 20) If you are feeling heavy emotional opinions try expressing them creatively and you could end up with a masterpiece. Avoid dead-end relationships since they are really a waste of energy. Stay relaxed and positive. You need more time alone to meditate and study.
