Marion Baker (Muffit) Sloan, 59, of New York City and formerly of Rumson, passed away on Friday, June 17. Marion was the daughter of Samuel Sloan III and Marion Dryden Baker Sloan. She graduated from Rumson Country Day School, Choate-Rosemary Hall and Syracuse University.
She is the sister of Cynthia Titus Powers of So. Royalton, Vermont, Dorothy Titus McFeeters of Boston, Massachusetts, and Ellen Sloan Nicholson of Savannah, Georgia. She is also survived by her nephews, Samuel Colt Sloan, Richard, Kenneth and Patrick McFeeters; grandnephews, Samuel Colton Sloan, Chase McFeeters; and a grandniece, Katie McFeeters. She was predeceased by her parents; and her brothers, Jay deWitt Titus and Samuel Sloan Jr.
Thompson Memorial Homes, Red Bank, was in charge of arrangements.
