Robert A. Tortorete, 74, of Ocean, passed away on April 30 at home. He was born in Jersey City to Frank Tortorete and Bertha (Hotz) and lived in Middletown since 1971 before moving to Ocean four years ago.
Bob loved traveling, fishing and taking pictures of his many adventures. He was a self-employed sales representative for various packaging companies throughout his career. He was a lifelong Yankees fan and a proud Eagle Scout.
He was predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Stahl Tortorete of 49 years; his loving children, Lauren Tortorete and her partner Mike Temple, and Brian and his wife Alison Tortorete; his brother, James Tortorete; his sister-in-law, Barbara Tortorete; and his niece, Lisa Tortorete. Also, surviving are his cherished grandchildren, Henry Tortorete and his brother (arriving in August) and Cameron Temple; as well as many cousins and friends.
