The 19th Annual Twilight Concert to benefit the AIDS Resource Foundation for Children will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, March 7 at St. George’s by-the-River Church, 7 Lincoln Ave., Rumson. Tickets are $50 in advance and $55 at the door, and include a post-concert meet-the-musicians reception immediately following the concert.

Red Bank Humanists will present Alice Paul: New Jersey’s Heroine for Equality by Kristina Myers at 10:30 a.m. at Red Bank Charter School, 58 Oakland St. The program, which is free and open to the public, is funded by the Horizons Speakers Bureau of the New Jersey Council for the Humanities, a state partner of the National Endowment for the Humanities. The Red Bank Catholic Performing Arts Department will present “Shrek The Musical,” the musical comedy based on the Oscar-winning Dreamworks film “Shrek,” at 7 p.m. and 2:30 p.m March 15, in Red Bank Catholic’s Broad St. Auditorium. Highlands Borough Arts Council will present a film “Village of No River,” portraying 50 Years of Eskimo Art and Culture, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Bahrs Landing, 2 Bay Ave., Highlands. The picture’s filmmaker, Barbara Lipton, is a renowned expert on Eskimo art and culture. More information at aharts.org.

Karen L. Schnitzpahn, author of “Remarkable Women of the New Jersey Shore” and recipient of several awards will be greeting readers from noon to 2 p.m. at Barnes & Noble in the Commons, 2134 Route 35, Holmdel.
Atlantic Highlands Arts Council’s FilmOneFest presents the New Jersey movie premiere The Salt of the Earth, which was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Documentary at 9:30 p.m. at Atlantic Cinemas, 82 First Ave., Atlantic Highlands. The event raises funds for FilmOneFest 2015, the free One-Minute International Film Festival in Atlantic Highlands. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at The Painted Frame at 78 First Ave., filmonefest.org, or at the door. As FilmOneFest supports Atlantic Highlands Food Pantry at all its events, donations of nonperishable food items will be accepted.

The Deep Cut Bonsai Society’s next meeting will be at 7:30 p.m. at the King of Kings Lutheran Church, 250 Harmony Road, Middletown. Bonsai topics will be discussed and guests may bring their bonsai tree(s) to get advice and/or work on during the meeting. Henry Hudson Regional School will present “Annie,” the classic family-friendly musical based on Harold Gray’s comic strip Little Orphan Annie, at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 19 – 22, at One Grand Tour, Highlands. General admission is $10 and $8 for students and seniors. MARCH 21
The Highlands Business Partnership will hold the 13th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 21. Nearly 100 marching units including bagpipers, marching bands, Irish dancers, and decorated floats, will line up to march in the celebration.
The 2015 grand marshals are Daniel Shields and Robert Higgins, owners of the Windansea Restaurant. The Highlands Business Partnership will also honor Joe Burke as St. Brendan the Navigator.
The parade will begin at Huddy Park with hundreds scheduled to march along a 1-mile stretch of Bay Avenue. A 50/50 raffle drawing will be held at 3 p.m. For additional information, call 732-291-4713 or visit www.highlandsnj.com.

Turning Point Restaurants will host The Kortney Rose Foundation’s (KRF) fifth annual “Great Food for a Great Cause” fundraiser at 10 of its locations from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 21 -22. Turning Point Restaurants in Holmdel, Little Silver and Long Branch and other locations will all help raise money for pediatric brain tumor research and awareness.
Patrons of Turning Point Restaurants in Holmdel, Little Silver and Long Branch who donate to KRF will receive a gift card for use upon their next visit to any of the Turning Point restaurants.

The newly formed nonprofit organization Friends of the Middletown Township Public Library is hosting an inaugural business networking event and community meet and greet from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 26 in the community room of the library, 55 New Monmouth Road, Middletown. A never-before-seen collection by artists, Bill Mack and Gary M. Welton, will be on exhibition and available for acquisition in a dual artist presentation at Gotham Fine Art Gallery, 19 Broad St., Red Bank. A Night of Future Broadway Stars is an evening of “kids helping kids” and will benefit the work of Covenant House Asbury Park. Covenant House New Jersey serves homeless young men and women between the ages of 18 and 21 and has a community outreach center in Asbury Park.
