RED BANK – The design of the lobby at the Two River Community Bank branch on Broad Street has earned Jill T. Ryan of Jill Ryan Interiors a 2014 Silver Award for Design Excellence for Public Spaces from the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) New Jersey Chapter.
Using a coastal color palette and natural elements like stone and metal, the design created an updated, modern space that will serve as a signature look for Two River Community Bank sites, including those in Cranford and New Brunswick.
The area was designed to be welcoming and functional, while maximizing security, privacy and the use of space for patrons and staff. To reinforce the bank’s community spirit, an art gallery was incorporated into the waiting area, displaying 20 works of art from local Plein-Air Painters of the Jersey Coast members.
Founded in 1975, ASID is the oldest, largest and leading professional organization for interior designers, with 48 chapters across the country. Ryan was one of only 24 interior designers in New Jersey who earned a 2014 ASID-NJ award.
