Francis E Wilton Jr., 76, of Atlantic Highlands, died on Thursday, June 23 in Red Bank. He was born in Brooklyn, New York, and lived in Port Monmouth. Francis worked as a sheet metal fabricator for Local 28 NYC for over 35 years. He was a life member of Middletown ELKS 2179 Belford. Frank loved fishing and golfing.
Francis was predeceased by his parents, Francis and Evelyn Wilton Sr. Surviving are his wife of 35 “glorious” years, Jerry Wilhelm Wilton; a son, Frank and Laura Wilton; two daughters, Geraldine Wilton and Maureen and Bill Balogh; six brothers, Danny and Margie Wilton, James Wilton, Thomas and Fran Wilton, Edward and Pat Wilton, John Wilton, and Arthur and Lisa Wilton; four sisters, Evelyn Maxwell, Ann and Tom Connors, Mary and Joe Austin and Marian and Mike Marshowsky; a brother-in-law, Mickey and Pat Wilhelm; a sister-in-law, Arlease Diffley; two sisters-in-law, Beth and Marc Gelber and Sharon and John Rast; his grandchildren, Lilly, Billy, Veronica, Frankie, Milena, Emmitt and Corina; and his devoted companion, Bow Baby.
