First Team

RICH CHRAMPANIS

Camryn Foltz, Colts Neck (Sr.)

Stats: 20.4 points per game
Best Moment: 28 points, 12 rebounds in a 48-45 win at Toms River North (Feb. 15) Foltz was an elite scorer for the Cougars, which paired perfectly with her elite academic record. That combination has Foltz heading to the Ivy League to play Division I basketball at Dartmouth. Foltz overcame a torn ACL in her freshman season and was still able to eclipse 1,000 career points.

PATRICK OLIVERO

Katie Hill, Saint John Vianney (Jr.)

Stats: 11.3 points per game
Best Moment: 20 points, 6 rebounds in a 70-63 win vs. St. Rose (Feb. 25) “No seniors, no problem” was the motto at Saint John Vianney and that’s in large part due to the leadership and well-rounded game of Katie Hill. The junior stepped up for New Jersey’s top-ranked team to do whatever her team needed, from swatting away shots to executing perfect passes to her teammates. Hill has given a verbal commitment to play in the Atlantic 10 for the Richmond Spiders.

RICH CHRAMPANIS

Justine Pissott, Red Bank Catholic (So.)

Stats: 9.0 points per game
Best Moment: 21 points in a 73-36 win vs. Marlboro (Feb. 8)
Pissott is poised to become one of New Jersey’s high profile players over the next two years. The sophomore is 6-foot-2 but has the shooting touch of a guard. A great 3-point shooter, she’s also able to mix things up in the paint.

RICH CHRAMPANIS

Paige Slaven, Rumson-Fair Haven (Sr.)

Stats: 12.53 points, 5.2 rebounds, 4.2 assists per game
Best Moment: 24 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists in a 51-35 win vs. St. Thomas Aquinas (Jan. 20) Slaven made the most of her one season at Rumson-Fair Haven. Coach Dave Callahan said Paige led by example and set a high bar for the younger players. Slaven will play college basketball at Saint Michael’s.

PATRICK OLIVERO

Madison St. Rose, Saint John Vianney (So.)

Stats: 18.3 points per game
Best Moment: 36 points in a 70-63 win vs. St. Rose (Feb. 25)
St. Rose has an elite skillset making her one of the most well-rounded and dangerous players in New Jersey. It’s hard to believe that she’s still got two more years of high school basketball ahead of her and has the potential to keep the Lancers as not only a state power but a nationally ranked team in the coming years.
