Mary Emily Mangone, 82, passed away peacefully Aug. 12 at her residence in Monmouth Beach. Mary was born July 8, 1937 in Staten Island, New York. She moved to Monmouth Beach, in 1984 where she settled. Mary worked in the retail field as an independent contractor for many years before retirement.
Mary was predeceased by her parents, Virginia (Macaluso) and Manuel DePinho. She is survived by her dear and loving children: Joseph M. Mangone and his wife Dawna of Matawan; Linda Mangone of Middletown; and John Mangone of Huntington Beach, California; and her grandson Joseph John Mangone.
Mary will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation Saturday, Sept. 7 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 Route 35 North, Hazlet. A prayer service will be offered during visitation hours. In respect to Mary’s wishes, she will be privately cremated.
