Melvin Sahner, 87, passed away Oct. 30. He is survived by Lee Ann, his loving wife of 67 years, his daughter, Mindi Sahner and her partner, Barry, his son, Charlie Sahner and his wife, Molly, and his grandchildren Jasmine, Sol and Katie Rose.
Melvin was a talented artist, musician and composer who wrote and played gospel, jazz and country music. He played the clarinet, saxophone, keyboard, organ and bass clarinet. A graveside service for Melvin was held Nov. 1 at Freehold Hebrew Benefit Society. The family sat Shiva Nov. 2 and Nov. 3.
