Harold A. Seide

Harold A. Seide, 84, passed away July 2, 2019. He was raised in Hoboken and relocated to Rumson to raise his four children. Harold attended Saint Peters Prep in Jersey City and was a graduate of Georgetown University and New York Law School. Following graduation from Georgetown, he was an officer in the U.S. Air Force and was honorably discharged with the rank of captain.

He was a partner with the Jersey City law firm of Bogart Keane Ryan for over 30 years, past president of the Hoboken Bar Association, and member of the New York Athletic Club and the Bergen Carteret Club.

His love of skiing afforded him many trips to Europe – Switzerland, France, Italy and Peru, where he traveled with the U.S. Olympic Ski Team as they trained for the Olympics. He was a member of Deal Golf and Country Club, and a member of The Peninsula House and Monmouth Beach Bath and Tennis Club, where he enjoyed many summers with his family. 

He was predeceased by his parents Harold and Eleanor (née Stanton) and his loving daughter Victoria Mazzucca (née Seide).

He is survived by his beloved wife Susan Seide (née McFeely); his loving children, Diana G. Seide, David C. Seide, and Christina Seide and her husband Edward James Kuch; his cherished grandsons, Henry Lawton and James Harold Kuch; and his dear sisters, Joan Talty and Lynn Cramer. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. 

All arrangements were private and under the care of the John E. Day Funeral Home, Red Bank. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be sent in Harold’s memory to Leukemia & Lymphoma Society at lls.org.
