Diane Delicato, 73, of Middletown, passed away in her home June 6, 2021. She was born in 1947 in West Point, New York, and lived in Middletown with her late husband Dominick. Diane worked as a hair specialist for Vito-Mazza Salon.
She loved spending time with her family, friends, and sharing wisdom to her loving granddaughter Samantha. Diane frequented Atlantic City and especially enjoyed the slot machines. She insisted she always came back a winner. She liked to play the N.J. Lotto and daily with scratch offs. Diane cherished hosting family gatherings and showing off some of her specialty baked goods, most notably her pistachio pie and cheesecake with fresh berries.
Surviving are her daughter Jennifer (Terrence) Koranda; son Richard Buda Jr.; sister Noreen Scott; stepson Dominick J. (Barbara) Delicato; granddaughter Samantha Koranda; and extended family.
Diane was preceded in death by her husband Dominick Delicato.
Visitation was held June 13 at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown. Funeral services were June 14 at the funeral home. A Funeral Liturgy was also offered at Mary Mother Of God Church, Middletown. Entombment followed at St. Gertrude’s Cemetery, Colonia.
Arrangements are under the direction of John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown.
