Krystie Lynn (Card) Apfel, 35, of Port Monmouth, passed away Sept. 30, 2021. Krystie was born Aug. 24, 1986, in Long Branch, a daughter of Darcy (Cusick) and the late W. Scott Card.
First and foremost, Krystie loved her children. She always wanted to help other people and she was attending Pilar College in the hopes of becoming a counselor who could help people with drug addictions.
She graduated from Saint John Vianney High School in 2004. Krystie loved arts and crafts, especially scrap booking. She also enjoyed music and dancing. Krystie was an avid NY Giants, Yankees and NASCAR racing fan. Martin Truex, No. 19, was her favorite.
Krystie is survived by her wife and best friend Julee Apfel. She also leaves behind her three children, Jeffrey Chapman, Jonathan Card and Gianna Card, along with her mother Darcy Cusick, sister Brianna Schwing, brother Joseph Mulligan IV and several cousins.
