Dr. Frederick Charles Blades, a much beloved ophthalmologist in Red Bank for over 40 years, passed away March 26, 2021. He was 78 years old. To honor this man, a memorial gathering will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 30 at Thompson Memorial Home, 310 Broad St., Red Bank. All visitors must wear facial masks.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the Fair Haven Public Library, 748 River Road, Fair Haven, NJ 07704, for their scholarship fund initiative.
