William F. Ogden III, 75, a lifelong resident of Belford, passed away at his home Oct. 25, 2021. Bill was born July 14, 1946, the only child of the late Agnes and William F. Ogden Jr. Bill proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Bill retired as senior electronics technician at MPS: Magnetic Products and Services in Holmdel.
Even when Bill was not working, he enjoyed tinkering with electronics and had several radio-controlled planes and cars. He was always happy to help his neighbors or give them advice on anything mechanical. Bill always put his family and friends first and looked forward to afternoon gatherings with his neighbors and Sunday dinners with his family.
Bill will be fondly remembered as a gentle soul who could bring a smile to anyone’s face.
Bill is survived by his family, John and Linda Hockin, and many lifelong friends and dear neighbors.
Friends paid their respects Oct. 30 at Scott & Kedz Home for Funerals, Belford. A funeral service concluded the visitation and burial followed at Fairview Cemetery.
