Marguerite Tesauro of Tinton Falls passed away quietly Jan. 22, 2022. Born in Red Bank, she resided in Colts Neck before moving to Tinton Falls in 1986. She worked as a seamstress for Mendelson’s garment factory in Long Branch. She was an accomplished cook who created many welcoming occasions in her home for family and friends. Marguerite was a spirited horseracing fan and enjoyed Monmouth Park during its summer seasons.
Marguerite was predeceased by her husband John A. Tesauro (1997), by her brother Albert O. Duncan (1969), and by her daughter-in-law Joyce Tesauro (2019). She will be missed by her son John “Andy” Tesauro Jr. and her daughter Deborah L. Dondero (John), and her absence will be deeply felt in the memories of her grandchildren, Amanda Kazalonis (Robert) and John A. Tesauro III (Marissa) and four great-grandchildren, Emma, Charlotte, Annabel and Abigail.
A visitation was held Jan. 28 at the John E. Day Funeral Home in Red Bank. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Jan. 29 at St. Anthony of Padua RC Church in Red Bank. Burial followed at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Middletown.
