Dennis M. McManamon, 82, of Red Bank, passed away Feb. 22, 2022 at Jersey Shore Center in Eatontown. Born in Chicago, Illinois, he also resided in Baltimore, Maryland and Perth Amboy before settling in Red Bank 46 years ago.
Mr. McManamon was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School in Perth Amboy, Class of 1957. He served in the U.S. Army before being honorably discharged. He served as president of Laborers Local 72. In his leisure time he was an avid golfer and fan of baseball. His greatest joy was his family, especially being the proud G-Pa to his granddaughter Caiden. He will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his beloved wife of almost 50 years, Helena McManamon (née Perski); his son and daughter in-law Michael McManamon and Christina; his daughter Kathleen McManamon; granddaughter Caiden; his sister Irene and her husband William; as well as many dear nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation was held Feb. 24 at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown.
A Funeral Mass took place Feb. 25 at the Church of St. Leo the Great, Lincroft.
