Vivian Huber, 74, of Atlantic Highlands, passed away peacefully after a long illness Oct. 1, 2022. She was born in Brooklyn, New York, and lived on Long Island for many years before settling in Atlantic Highlands.
Late in life Vivian went back to college to pursue her dream of being an English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher. After 10 years of working on her education, she graduated from Queens College at the age of 45. Her passion and compassion for helping others made her a wonderful teacher to her students.
Vivian was loved by so many for her selfless and warm demeanor. She would give you the shirt off her back or open her home to anyone who needed it, which is what made her so special.
Vivian was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Michael Huber; son Michael Huber; daughter Andrea Huber and her partner John Solon; and grandchildren, Patrick Huber and Lucy Huber.
Visitation was Oct. 5 at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown. Cremation was private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Foundation of Hope ESL program in memory of Vivian at foundationofhope.us.
