Christopher Martin Colyer, 76, died peacefully at his home in Ft. Myers, Florida Oct. 25, 2022. Chris was born July 8, 1946, in Glen Ridge to the late Donald H. Colyer and Serena M. Colyer.
Chris grew up in Fair Haven and graduated from Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School. He attended Chamberlain College and the University of Miami.
Chris is survived by his brothers, Donald H. Colyer Jr. and Miles R. Colyer; sisters, Serena Girten and Georgianna Clayton; niece Kimberly E. Colyer-Williams; nephews Donald H. Colyer III, Michael E. Clayton, Brian D. Bernhard and Andrew D. Bernhard.
Chris proudly served in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged in December 1972. Arrangements are being handled privately by the family.
