Karen Anderson, 51, of Atlantic Highlands, passed away at home Nov. 3, 2022.
Born May 5, 1971, to James and Priscilla Anderson, Karen was of nine children and was raised in Rumson. Karen attended Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School and graduated in 1989. Karen will be remembered by all who knew her in her high school as a gifted athlete, excelling in the sports of basketball and soccer. She was honored to be inducted into the RFH Athletic Hall of Fame in 2012.
Karen spent much of her life in Middletown where she raised her two children, Chase Buczny and Christopher Repmann, and was an active member of the community. She had a successful business career but always took time to focus on her children’s interests. Her son Christopher’s success as an athlete remains the product of her passion and stewardship.
Karen was predeceased by her parents, James and Priscilla Anderson (2021) and her brother John (Buff) Anderson. She is survived by her seven siblings, Jim, Kevin, Cathy, Rob, Sue, Dave and Jennifer, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Karen will be remembered as a valued friend to all who knew and cared for her.
