Dennis Daniels, 73, of Keansburg, passed away peacefully at home under the care of hospice Jan. 6, 2023, in Keansburg. He was born in Jersey City and when he turned 20 years old he was drafted into the United Stated Army.
He bravely served his country serving during the Vietnam War. He would go on to win the National Defense Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal and the Vietnam Service Medal with two Bronze Stars.
He worked as a forklift operator for many years, retiring from White Rose Frozen Foods in Carteret.
Surviving are his wife of 49 years Patricia J. Daniels; daughter Kerri M. Daniels; two sisters, Jane (Tony) Virone and Sheila (Frank) Paciullo; and two brothers, Arthur Daniels and Brian Daniels.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Rita Daniels.
Visitation was held Jan. 9 at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown. A funeral service was offered at the funeral home.
