Arthur Joseph Conquest, 61, of Middletown, passed away Feb. 18, 2023, at Jersey Shore Medical Center. Arthur was born Feb. 11, 1962, in Concord, Massachusetts, a son of Beverly and Joseph Conquest. He was raised in Massachusetts, then joined the Navy where he served over 20 years. He was stationed on the USS Seattle for 10 of those years before serving in the Reserves. He was last stationed in New Jersey and decided to make it his home.

Art worked for the Township of Middletown Sewerage Authority for the past 25 years and was looking forward to retirement.

Art loved being outside. He enjoyed walking on the beach and riding his bike around town. He was extremely handy and could build just about anything. He was currently redoing his back yard and making a garden and patio. Art adored his dog Elmo and loved when his “grand-cats” came to visit. His Thursday nights were usually spent watching “Ghost Adventures” with his daughter Cierra. He will be fondly remembered as a loving father and dear friend.

Arthur is survived by his four children, Joseph (Sarah) Conquest, Kimberly Conquest, Amanda (John) Allenbaugh and Cierra Adderly, along with her mother and Art’s dear friend, Christine Adderly. He also leaves behind his parents, Beverly and Joseph Conquest; a sister Linda Corish; a brother Robert “Bob’ Conquest; three grandchildren, Olivia, Bentlee and Neil; and his nephew Tommy Corish.

Friends and relatives paid their respects Feb. 23 at Scott & Kedz Home for Funerals. A service concluded the evening and a private cremation followed.
