Noel Janosi, 68, of Middletown, passed away peacefully Oct. 10, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Bayonne and, together with her husband Joe, lived and raised her family in Middletown since 1985.
Noel was a devoted Catholic school educator and coach for many years. She started her teaching career at St. Andrew’s in Bayonne and taught at St. Mary School in Middletown for much of her career until her retirement in 2016.
Noel loved vacations and the beach was her happy place. Above all things, she loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. Noel was a remarkable woman who loved life and was full of love. She was a kind, caring, selfless soul who inspired all who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
Surviving are her husband of 41 years, Joe; son Michael Janosi; daughter Katie and husband Jack Campbell; daughter Mary Janosi; grandchildren, Callie Janosi and Jack Campbell; siblings, Cathy McFadden, Carol Hayes, Maureen Lennon, Edward Lennon and Patrick Lennon; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held Oct. 12 at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered Oct. 13 at Mary, Mother of God Church, Middletown. Interment followed at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Middletown.
