Helen A. Elkins Leventhal passed away Oct. 23, 2023. She was a lifelong resident of the Middletown area. Helen retired from banking in 1996 to enjoy many years of travel.
Helen had a special love for all animals and was always ready to take in a stray cat or two. They always knew where to go.
She is survived by her daughter Deborah A. Runge and her husband Glenn Runge; son Isaac B. Leventhal Jr; granddaughter Lisa Geisler and her husband Matthew Geisler; granddaughter Jessica LeMure and her husband Patrick LeMure; and great-granddaughter Lily Elizabeth Geisler.
As per Helen’s request, services will be private at the John F. Pfleger Funeral Home.
