Anthony “Tony” Fulciniti passed away April 14, 2024, at the age of 77. He was born June 20, 1946, in New York City, a son of the late Violet and Anthony Fulciniti. He was raised in Brooklyn and, after marrying, he and his wife Joan eventually settled in Port Monmouth in 1990 to raise their family.
Tony was a hardworking and dedicated husband and father. He was a mechanic all his life, finding joy in working on cars. For the past 10 years he worked for the Michael Loori Bus Company as a diesel mechanic, a job that allowed him to do what he loved.
It seemed like Tony was always working on cars, modifying them for racing. His passion for cars led him to Raceway Park in Englishtown, where he could often be found at races, swap meets or car shows. He had a particular fondness for monster trucks and off-road vehicles.
Tony is survived by his wife of 41 years, Joan Fulciniti; their three children, Anthony M., Michael and Michelle; two sisters, Barbara Scotto and Violet Grisaffi; five grandchildren, Terrance, Gerard, Julianna, Tierra and Tyree Jr.; as well as several nieces and nephews.
It was Tony’s wish to have no services, but please leave condolences and memories of him on his memorial page at scottkedzfuneralhome.com.
