With deep sadness, the family of Victoria Maresca, a beloved wife and mother, announced her passing Aug. 2, 2024, at the age of 80.

She was born Victoria Ellen Pucci Feb. 22, 1944, in Brooklyn, New York. She later moved to Sorrento, Italy, where she met the love of her life, Massimo Maresca. They soon married and returned to the New York area, eventually moving to Rumson where they have been long-time residents. She was a dedicated wife to her husband Massimo and a devoted mother to her children, Madeleine and Erika.

Victoria lived a fulfilling life and was a woman of many talents. She had a particular passion for cooking and entertaining for her extended family and her homemade dishes were always the highlight of those gatherings.

Victoria was a kind and generous soul, always putting others’ needs before her own. Her love and compassion extended to all those who knew her, and she will be remembered for her warm personality.

She is survived by her husband Massimo, her children, Madeleine and Erika, and her grandchildren, Jesse, Eliot, Yasmine and Matthias, who will all miss her dearly.

A funeral service was held Aug. 7 at St. George’s-by-the-River, Rumson. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Parker Family Health Center in Red Bank in memory of Victoria Maresca.

Thompson Memorial Home of Red Bank, NJ has been entrusted with the arrangements.
