Rosemarie graduated from Lafayette High School, Class of 1965 and then continued her education at New York City Community College, graduating with an Associate Degree in applied science. She then started her career as an executive legal secretary at a prominent Madison Avenue international law firm in Manhattan. After a few years of working, Rosemarie left to devote her time to caring for her children as a stay-at-home mother.

Rosemarie loved her family immensely and was a devoted sister, wife, mother and grandmother. Her home was filled with laughter, warmth and cherished memories. Rosemarie shared a special bond with her sister, Jennifer Legeno, that was marked by love, laughter and unwavering support.

Rosemarie and Richard shared 54 years of marriage and created a beautiful life, bringing joy and happiness to those around them. As a mother, she took great joy in her children, supporting and celebrating their milestones. She also lived to spoil her grandchildren with love, special treats and unforgettable moments.

Rosemarie especially loved gardening, birds and spending time with friends and family. She loved nurturing plants and flowers and spent hours turning her yard into a vibrant retreat. She also loved caring for and watching all the birds who would come to visit her garden. Rosemarie’s garden created a special oasis for all who entered it. Whether it was lunch with her friends, pedicures with her daughters or hosting a house full of people, she enjoyed socializing with loved ones and making everyone laugh with her sense of humor.

Rosemarie’s loving, caring, and kind heart will be forever missed by all of the lives she touched.
