Lois K. White of Little Silver died peacefully in her sleep the morning of Feb. 21, 2025, at the age of 73, after a brief illness.

Born Lois Theresa Kaselow on June 16, 1951, in New York, she spent the majority of her formative years in Amsterdam, New York. She advanced her education by obtaining bachelor’s and master’s degrees. Lois was a lifelong learner and she never stopped in her career and personal life. She was an avid reader.

Lois loved the Jersey Shore. Once she found herself there, it became her home of over 40 years. She treasured her community of beloved friends, her family and her career. Lois was both a Realtor and construction manager. She was associated with Mary Burke of Heritage House Sotheby’s Real Estate, Benny Mann of Mann Enterprises, and Gary Laurino. Most recently, Lois worked closely with the Gualtieri family in their operation of Rumson Kitchen & Bath, Two River Builders and Piccola Italia Restaurant. The Gualtieris welcomed Lois into their business and personal lives as a family member.

Lois was hard-working, honest, loyal and fair in all of her business dealings. She delivered quality to her customers and took pride in a job well done. She was a caring individual and gave generously to her friends. She was a fighter and never gave up on any of life’s challenges. She brought energy, determination and wicked humor to life’s everyday encounters. She was intelligent and fun.

She is survived by her two brothers, Robert H. Kaselow and Richard W. Kaselow. Her community of friends will deeply miss her.

Visitation was held Feb. 26 at Thompson Memorial Home, Red Bank. A funeral service was held Feb. 27 at the funeral home. Burial followed the service at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Middletown.

Lois will forever live in her family and friends’ hearts and memories.
