Dr. Robert C. Conklin, age 73, passed away April 10, 2025, at home with his family after undergoing a year of treatment for cholangiocarcinoma.
He graduated from Cathedral High School in Trenton, St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine, and Rutgers Graduate School of Management.
Dr. Conklin practiced pathology and nuclear medicine before working in the reinsurance field. He was a vice president and medical director at CNA before becoming a medical director for Fasano Associates for 20 years.
Robert was predeceased by his parents, William and Josy Conklin. He is survived by his wife, Sergie Conklin, and his daughter, Josy Conklin. He is also survived by his uncle, Chester Stuebben; his aunt, Claire Stuebben; his cousin, retired U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. Gary Stuebben (Christi); and his cousin, Dr. Kurt Stuebben (Angela).
Visitation was held April 16 at Thompson Memorial Home, Red Bank. A funeral service will be held at noon Thursday, April 17 at Tower Hill Presbyterian Church, 255 Harding Road, Red Bank. Burial will follow the service at Woodbine Cemetery in Oceanport. In lieu of flowers, a contribution may be made to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center at mskcc.org.
