Ann H. Dupree, of Fair Haven, passed away May 18, 2025, at the age of 89.
Ann was a lifelong resident of Fair Haven, where she was active in the community. She was a life member of the Fair Haven Fire Department for 66 years, volunteering as both a member and president of the auxiliary. She also served as a member of the fire police.
Ann was active at the Viola L. Sickles School for many years, making a positive impact on students and participating in various community events.
Ann is survived by her children and stepchildren: Kathleen Bachman and husband Chris of Park City, Utah; Linda Davis and husband Alex of New Bern, North Carolina; John McQueen and wife Karen of Mount Sidney, Virginia; Tripp Dupree and wife Maureen; Jeff Dupree and wife Nancy; and Chris Dupree and wife Stephanie. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held June 11 at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 235 Little Silver Point Road, Little Silver. Friends are welcome from 5 to 7 p.m., with a memorial service at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Fair Haven Fire Company Auxiliary or St. John’s Episcopal Church.
