Dominick Andrew Lamberti, 81, of Aberdeen, passed away peacefully Aug. 30, 2025. Born March 18, 1944, in Brooklyn, New York, he was the son of Joseph and Josephine Lamberti.Â
Dom was a sales executive in the garment industry for over 50 years and met his wife Susan while working in the Empire State Building. Married for 54 years, they built a family he cherished above all else.
He loved the beach, gardening, cooking, tennis and especially spending time with his grandchildren. After retirement, he volunteered regularly at Fulfill, the food bank of Monmouth and Ocean counties, and Lunch Break in Red Bank.
Dom was predeceased by his parents, his brother-in-law Bob Rocco, and his in-laws, Bob and Dorothy Mussey. He is survived by his wife, Susan Lamberti, and his daughters, Dana and her husband Keith Casuccio, Nikki and her partner Michael Briones, and his youngest daughter, Amanda. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Aidan, Sophia and Christopher Casuccio, his sister Vivian Rocco, and his sweet dog Sadie.
The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the entire staff at Complete Care Bayshore for caring for Dom like family, especially in his final days. Memorial visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, at John E. Day Funeral Home, 85 Riverside Ave., Red Bank, with a service at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Fulfill (fulfillnj.org), Lunch Break (lunchbreak.org), or Husky House animal rescue (huskyhouse.org).
