Beverly Blanchet Reiss, 90, of Little Silver, passed away at home Dec. 19, 2025.
A devoted mother, Beverly was predeceased by her eldest son, Theodore Kransz Reiss (1972) and her eldest daughter, Ruth Margaret Reiss (1997).
She is survived by her daughter Heidi M. Reiss; her son Carl A. (Anne) Reiss; and her grandsons, Carl and Jack Reiss.
Beverly was the second of five daughters of Lucille and G. Arthur Blanchet. She was predeceased by her sister, Margaret Ann Blanchet; she is survived by her sisters, Lucille B. Conklin, Sister Rosamond Blanchet, RSHM, and Carole B. (Michael) Brown.
Beverly graduated from Marymount College in Tarrytown, New York, and was a longstanding communicant of the Church of the Nativity in Fair Haven.
BB, which she so aptly adopted as her “grandmother” name, was highly spirited and very loving. She will be missed by many who turned to her for laughter and friendship during good times and understanding and support when challenged.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Dec. 23 at Church of the Nativity. Burial was private.
