Marguerite Barnes, 80, passed away Jan. 7, 2026. She was born Nov. 5, 1945, in Trenton to Robert and Carrie Lindsey. She lived in Asbury Park and Neptune during her early years and later resided in Red Bank, where she raised her grandson, Kymar Barnes.
She is survived by her children, Barbette Barnes, Robert Barnes and Cammie Harris; her grandchildren Kymar, Amir, Elijah, Amaya, Noah and Ella; and her sister, Arlene Lanier.
She was preceded in death by her son Derrick and her brothers, Frank Lindsey and Billy Lindsey.
