Kathleen Maria Alvarez and William Edward Drevno will be married Jan. 31 at the Molly Pitcher Inn in Red Bank.
The bride is the daughter of Judy and Manuel Alvarez of Lincroft. Kathleen grew up in Lincroft and attended the Academy of Allied Health & Science, Neptune. She earned her undergraduate degree at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, and completed a master’s at Yale School of Nursing in New Haven, Connecticut, to become a nurse practitioner. After practicing for six years, she recently pivoted to work at a health care AI company based in New York City’s Soho area.
William, son of Michael and Linda Drevno of Raleigh, North Carolina, grew up in San Diego, California, and studied engineering at UC Berkeley. He is a tech entrepreneur and most recently was a senior director at The Gap, Inc., following the acquisition of the company he co-founded. He and his two business partners are now in the early stages of starting their next company.
The couple met in the summer of 2022 in Manhattan, where they live.
