John Patrick Kane IV, 50, passed away unexpectedly April 1, 2026, in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
John was born April 15, 1975, in Middletown, to Debra Farrell and John P. Kane III. He graduated from Middletown High School North as a multisport athlete and MVP. He went on to start a successful career in HVAC, relied upon and respected by every single one of his colleagues.
John was the most devoted and loyal father to his four children, Collin, John V, Liv and Kylie, working tirelessly to provide them a home full of love and laughter. He was happiest when he was fishing and camping, two long-standing family traditions. Despite his busy schedule, John never missed a New York Giants or New Jersey Devils game.
Those close to him will remember his incomparable drive, hard-headedness, dry humor and contagious smile. John believed in hard work and, even more, in the importance of being present for his friends and family.
John is survived by his parents, John III and Debra; his children, Collin, John V, Liv and Kylie; and his cherished life partner and mother of his boys, Trish. Every one of them was graced by the opportunity to know a man as unique as John.
A memorial service for family and friends will be held at 4 p.m. April 9 at Scott and Kedz Home for Funerals in Belford.
