Albert “Albie” Hickey

Albert “Albie” Hickey, 42, formerly of Keyport, passed away Nov. 4. Albie was born July 25, 1978 in Long Branch, a son of Albert L. Hickey and the late Elizabeth Hickey. He was raised in Keyport, where he graduated from Keyport High School with all of his childhood friends.

Albie was the owner and operator of Albie There Trucking and Hauling. He spent all his time with his two kids on his boats fishing and crabbing. He will be remembered for always having a funny story to tell that would make everyone smile and laugh. His heart was full of gold, making sure his kids, nieces, nephew and siblings were taken good care of. He will be missed deeply. 

Albie is survived by his children, Landon and Aubrie Hickey. He also leaves behind his father Albert Hickey, sister and brother-in-law, Lisa and Joe Agostini, and brother and sister-in-law, Kevin and Julie Hickey, along with his nieces, Tess, Daisy, Emily and Elizabeth and nephew Cameron. He was predeceased by his mother Elizabeth in 2011.

Friends and relatives may pay their respects from 2-5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14 at Scott & Kedz Home for Funerals. A funeral service will conclude the afternoon and a private cremation will follow.
