Alfonso Campitiello, 81, of Boyton Beach, Florida passed away Dec. 10. He was born Dec. 14, 1938 in Pagani, Salerno, Italy. He was a retired proprietor of Alfonso Bakery in Staten Island, New York.

Alfonso was predeceased by his parents Vincenzo and Marianna Orlando Campitiello, his father-in-law, and sister-in-law Filomena Campitiello. He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years Diane Mallozzi Campitiello; his loving sons Vincent Campitiello and his wife Cathy of Bernardsville, Anthony Campitiello and his wife Jill of Manalapan, and Peter Campitiello and his wife Suzanne of Lincroft; his dear brother Gerardo Campitiello; his mother-in-law Antoinette Mallozzi; his cherished grandchildren, Allison, Justin, Christopher Fersini, Dianna, Angela, Christina, Gabrielle, Brian Fersini, Matthew, Tommy Fersini, Kate Fersini, Nicholas, Nina, Anthony Jr. and Giovanna; a great-grandson Antonio; along with nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He will be sadly missed but never forgotten.

Family and friends were invited to visit Dec. 16 and 17 at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Hazlet. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Thursday, Dec. 17 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Catharine Roman Catholic Church, 108 Middletown Road, Holmdel. Entombment will follow at Moravian Cemetery, Hillview Mausoleum, Staten Island, New York.
