Labor Day Weekend may be the symbolic end of summer, but that doesnโ€™t mean people didnโ€™t get out and enjoy themselves. All across the Two River area residents came out to enjoy the beautiful weather over the long weekend and take part in a number of events.

In Holmdel Park the Jersey Shore Running Club held its 26th annual Saturday in the Park Womenโ€™s 5K to benefit programs in Monmouth and Ocean counties that provide shelter and support for women and their families who are suffering from domestic violence.

In Rumson, St. Georgeโ€™s-by-the-River held its annual Canterbury Art Show which showcased work from local artists.

Monmouth Boat Club held its annual Labor Day Regatta which saw a mix of 15 Lightning and Flying Scot-style boats race on the Navesink River while residents watched from Marine Park.

And people from all over flocked to beaches like Sea Brightโ€™s Municipal Beach to enjoy the final days in the sand and sun before the weather turns chilly.
