Ann Diomede-Reynolds

Ann Diomede-Reynolds, 82, of Atlantic Highlands, passed away July 8, 2023. Ann was born March 9, 1941, a daughter of the late Adaline and Paul Diomede. She was raised in Weehawken. After high school she moved to New York City where she lived for over a decade before moving to Keansburg. In the late 1990s, Ann moved to New Hampshire with her husband Philip. After his passing, she returned to New Jersey, settling in Atlantic Highlands to be closer to her family.

Ann worked in upper management at AT&T for 30 years. She started her career in New York City and retired from the company’s Basking Ridge office in the early 1990s. After AT&T, Ann taught fourth grade for a private school in New Jersey, then taught for several years in New Hampshire. While living in New Hampshire, Ann belonged to Our Lady of Lourdes Church where she was an altar server and taught CCD.  

Ann enjoyed traveling around the world. She went to Italy, the pyramids in Egypt and many other foreign places. She also enjoyed vacationing at her home in Myrtle Beach.

Ann could often be found partaking in a card game like pinochle, a board game or even dominoes with her family. She especially liked playing bingo. Ann will fondly be remembered as a loving sister, aunt and dear friend. 

Ann was predeceased by her husband Philip K. Reynolds in 2013 and her brother Anthony Diomede.

She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Mary Diomede, along with many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Friends and relatives paid their respects July 13 and 14 at Scott & Kedz Home for Funerals. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated July 14 at St. Ann’s Church in Keansburg. Burial and committal followed at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Middletown.
