Annette Lyn Calabro, 45, of Morganville, passed away Feb. 13, 2022, after a long battle with cancer.
Annette was born and raised in Red Bank and Middletown. She worked in the insurance industry, owned a dog walking/pet sitting business, and later became a medical assistant. She adored her patients.
She loved nature and any animal she met, especially her three dogs and two cats. An avid hiker, she enjoyed Holmdel Park and walking on the beach. She had a passion for House and Dance music as well as DJ culture.
Annette is survived by her mother, Ann Marie Calabro, her father and stepmother, Leonard and Joyce Calabro, her sisters, Gina and Angela Calabro and Jacqueline Martin.
A gathering was held Feb. 17 at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home. A Mass took place Feb. 18 at Church of the Nativity, Fair Haven. Private entombment will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Guiding Eyes for the Blind (providing guide-dogs for those with vision loss) at guidingeyes.org or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at stjude.org/donate.
