Anthony Emilio Castellano, 66, of Lincroft, passed away June 26, 2024, surrounded by his family.
Anthony was born Aug. 16, 1957, and raised in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan. He married the love of his life and soul mate Karin and they settled in Lincroft to raise their daughter.
Anthony devoted his career to being a clinical social worker and an addiction and substance abuse counselor, receiving his master’s in social work from Fordham University. Anthony was a respected and esteemed counselor who spent most of his career at Preferred Behavioral Health Group in Lakewood, retiring as vice president.
Loyal, tenacious and devoted to his family, Anthony’s passion for life was evident every day. He loved celebrating with a good cigar and cherished his yearly family trips to Aruba. To know him was to feel his love, warmth and dedication. He will be greatly missed.
Anthony was predeceased by his parents, Anthony and Marie Castellano.
He is survived by his loving wife Karin; his daughter Christina Marie Castellano and her husband Daniel McGowan Johnson; his siblings, Veronica, Bernadette, Pamela, Joseph, Christina, Maria and Patricia; his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Alexander and Jan; many loving nieces and nephews; and his beloved grandchildren, Luke Anthony and Chloe Beatrice.
Visitation was June 30 at the Holmdel Funeral Home, Holmdel. A Mass of Christian burial was offered at St. Anthony of Padua Church, Red Bank.
