Aroxy K. Parigian

1205

Aroxy K. Parigian, 96, of Colts Neck, passed away April 9, 2021. She was born in New York City to the late Paul and Heripsime (née Pazoumian) Kermizian.

Roxy was the prettiest girl in Bound Brook, where she lived with her mother and father and brother until she married Berge. They moved to Newark, and she immediately became the prettiest girl in Newark. While her physical beauty was obvious to all, her inner beauty was unparalleled! To everyone who knew her, she was the kindest, warmest, most gracious and graceful person. Her children and grandchildren adored her.

Roxy had the ability to simultaneously run a business, Parigian Carpet Co., with Berge while creating and maintaining the happiest household for her family. She made friends for life and was admired and respected by all. Roxy was truly one of a kind and will be deeply missed by family and friends alike.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband Berge Parigian in 2015 and her brother Vahe Kermizian. She is survived by her loving children, Kathy and her husband Stephen, George and his wife Abby, and Thomas and his wife Jennifer, and her cherished grandchildren, Sabina, Berge, Sara and Halle, as well as close cousins, nieces and nephews.

A burial took place April 19 at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown. A memorial Mass will be held at St. Stepano’s Armenian Church in Elberon at a later date followed by a celebration of life party.

All arrangements are under the direction of the John E. Day Funeral Home, Red Bank.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent in Aroxy’s memory to St. Stepano’s Armenian Church, 1184 Ocean Ave., Elberon, NJ 07740.
