Brian J. Munson, age 71, of Tinton Falls, passed away Feb. 16, 2022. Brian grew up in Little Silver and was a graduate of Red Bank Regional Class of 1968. He was a resident of Tinton Falls for 36 years. He retired as a crane operator from Naval Weapons Station Earle.
Brian loved to entertain family and was the life of the party. He was happiest when he was cooking, and barbecuing was his specialty. He also took pride in taking care of his home and yard.
Brian is survived by his wife Patty; they were married for 29 years. He is also survived by his daughter Kelly and her husband Chris, son Brian Jr. and his wife Jamie, stepdaughter Christina and her husband John, stepson Eric and his fiancée Jennifer; four grandchildren, Tyler, Matthew, Nikolai and Elizabeth; brothers Rob and Russell; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Nancy and sister Ruth.
A memorial gathering was held Feb. 20 at Thompson Memorial Home, Red Bank. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Monmouth County SPCA or the American Diabetes Association.
